MICRON Filter Cartridges Corp. was established in 2005 and is located in Elmhurst, Illinois. We manufacture string wound filter cartridges simple, low cost, effective technology for filtering a variety of contaminants from water, vegetable oils, beverages, and other fluids. String wound filters are among the most common type of liquid filter used throughout the world. MICRON string wound filter cartridges are the filter of choice among bio-diesel users. MICRON String Wound Filter Cartridges are made from high quality, FDA compliant polypropylene yarn wound to precision requirements. This ensures a filter cartridge with full-depth contaminant holding characteristics. MICRON cartridges fit most commonly available 10" and 20" filter housings and come in three standard diameters, 2-1/4", 2-1/2" and 4-1/2", and a wide range of micron filtration ratings. Our most popular model, the 10" long filter cartridge is widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial filtering applications, and our Dual Clean 4-1/2" cartridges provide pre- and final filtration in a single cartridge. We can supply virtually any diameter as a custom requirement. We design and build state-of-the-art filter winding machines, using laser cut frames and precision machined components, which produces filters superior in quality and performance to other filters currently being produced. Due to the superior winding characteristics of our winders, we can produce more continuous wound filters in less time.
